My client, a fast-growing consumer products company is seeking an Inventory Analyst to support warehouse operations and strengthen inventory controls across multiple 3PL locations. This role partners closely with Warehousing leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy, service-level performance, and data-driven decision-making that supports company growth. This position is located in Orange County and will be a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple 3PL warehouses
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, shrinkage, spoilage, and inventory holds
- Partner with 3PL providers to improve receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes
- Analyze inventory trends, aging, and movement data to support procurement and production planning
- Develop dashboards and reports (Excel/Power BI) to track KPIs such as accuracy, shrinkage, and claims
- Support new product launches and inventory transitions
- Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements
- Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and warehouse partners for inventory-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPIM a plus
- 3 years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience (CPG preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and Power BI experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot discrepancies using root cause analysis
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and self-directed with strong communication skills
