Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager to manage daily dealership operations and ensure all departments meet performance and profitability goals
- Lead, motivate, and develop department managers through training, goal setting, and performance evaluations
- Monitor sales, service, and financial metrics; provide actionable insights and recommend improvements as needed
- Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to align operational strategies and ensure consistent communication
- Oversee customer satisfaction and retention efforts, resolving higher-level concerns as they arise
- Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and review of monthly statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives, lending institutions, and business partners
- Support the creation of marketing and merchandising initiatives that drive customer engagement and profitability
- Champion a positive workplace culture that fosters teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
- 4–10 years of progressive management experience in the automotive industry or a comparable retail business
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of dealership operations
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Proven ability to analyze performance data, make informed decisions, and execute effective business strategies
