DSD Route Sales

Overview:      The position of Route Sales for Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company (MPM) requires that an individual be able to physically and safely perform the necessary functions of driving, delivering, stocking and ordering the wide range of products that the Company sells.  The position requires the ability to perform tasks on your own without supervision and be able to communicate with both fellow co-workers and others outside of the organization.  

Job Requirements:    

• Education – high school or equivalent preferred
• License – Must be able to obtain a Class B drivers’ license and qualify for coverage as a driver under company insurance
• Physical – Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day as well as be able to climb stairs and climb in and out of trucks
• Skills – Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and be able to learn basic route delivery functions.         
• Mental – Must be able to adapt to daily conditions and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.  Must show reliability and promptness on a daily basis

Other Information:  The Route Sales position is a 40 /- working hours per week.   It is a Monday through Friday position.   The compensation is a monthly base pay plus a commission.  The typical annual salary range is $50-$55k per year, depending on the route characteristics.  A full benefits package is available...from health insurance to a retirement plan and more.

About the Company:   Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company is a family owned distributorship for Purity Dairy and is located in Murfreesboro, TN.   It was founded in 1929, and has been a distributor for Purity for almost 60 years and has route distribution in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky.

The current open position in Murfreesboro is for a DSD milk route concentrating mainly inside the city limits.   Current applicants holding a valid CDL, Class B or A, are preferred.
