Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, along with the ability to learn new systems and tools as needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients in a professional manner.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced public accounting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; progress toward CPA certification or interest in obtaining the CPA credential is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Covington, KY and contribute positively to a team-oriented, client-focused culture.
- Prior internship or professional experience in public accounting or related financial roles is a plus.
