Job Summary
MuniRem Environmental, LLC is seeking a senior executive to lead expansion across both U.S. federal and commercial markets, with emphasis on the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and private-sector environmental and infrastructure clients.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving growth in federal, state, municipal, and commercial sectors, with additional exposure to select international opportunities in environmental remediation and munitions response.

Role Overview
As Vice President, Federal & Commercial Growth, you will define and execute MuniRem’s growth strategy across public and private sectors—leading capture management, business development, proposals, compliance, and client engagement.
You will serve as a key member of the executive team, working directly with the CEO and President to position MuniRem as a trusted partner in highly regulated remediation and infrastructure markets.
Key Responsibilities
Federal & Commercial Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute integrated growth strategies across Federal, State, municipal, and commercial markets
- Lead opportunity identification, qualification, and pursuit across government contracts and private-sector engagements
- Drive expansion into new markets, clients, and geographic regions
Federal Capture & Government Engagement
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Federal Contracts Acquisition & Capture Plan aligned with DoD, DoE, and USACE priorities
- Engage early in the acquisition lifecycle through RFIs, industry days, and direct agency engagement
- Build relationships with USACE districts, contracting officers, and federal program leadership
Commercial Business Development
- Identify and secure opportunities with industrial, energy, infrastructure, and private-sector clients
- Develop partnerships with engineering firms, developers, and environmental service providers
- Expand MuniRem’s footprint in commercial remediation and infrastructure markets
Capture & Proposal Leadership
- Lead capture and proposal efforts across public and private sector opportunities
- Drive strategies emphasizing technical excellence, safety, innovation, and value delivery
- Improve win rates through disciplined processes and cross-functional coordination
Compliance & Market Readiness
- Be involved with ITAR compliance, CMMC certification, and federal contracting readiness
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and safety requirements across all sectors
Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning
- Monitor federal funding pipelines and commercial market trends
- Maintain awareness of policy, regulatory, and industry shifts impacting growth
International Growth Support
- Support expansion into select international markets, including partner development and opportunity evaluation
Qualifications
- 5 years in business development, capture management, or growth leadership
- Proven success in federal contracting (DoD, DoE, USACE) and/or commercial environmental markets
- Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and government procurement processes
- Experience in environmental remediation, munitions response, or infrastructure services preferred
- Strong network across government agencies and/or commercial clients
- Prior DoD clearance (or eligibility) strongly preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $180K – $225K, commensurate on experience
- Performance Bonus: 30–50% tied to revenue growth and contract wins
