MuniRem Environmental, LLC is seeking a Senior MMRP Project Manager to join our growing team. We are a leading munitions and environmental services company with a robust remediation program that includes decontamination of explosives-contaminated buildings, chemical sampling, munitions treatment and disposal, and innovative technologies for explosives neutralization, metal precipitation, and stabilization.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a seasoned MMRP professional with demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and leading field-based teams conducting UXO operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage munitions-related remediation projects from planning through execution
- Serve as primary client liaison and maintain strong client relationships
- Oversee project logistics, scheduling, and budgeting
- Support business development initiatives and strategic growth efforts
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing field teams
- Develop and expand service lines in munitions demilitarization and building decontamination/deconstruction
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading field-based UXO operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple small- to mid-sized programs simultaneously
- Experience working with USACE clients (U.S. and/or international) strongly preferred
- Military background with EOD Tech III certification is a plus
Requirements
- 5 years of environmental project management experience (including 3 years in UXO/MMRP projects)
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional certifications such as PE, PG, or RG preferred; PMP or CHMM a plus
- Preference given to candidates with EOD/UXO Tech III certification
- Strong understanding of MMRP technologies, including equipment-assisted excavation and explosives-contaminated building decontamination/dismantling
- Experience managing project financials and ensuring profitable execution
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets
- Business development experience, including proposal writing and FFP cost estimation, is beneficial
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
