Senior MMRP Project Manager

MuniRem Environmental, LLC is seeking a Senior MMRP Project Manager to join our growing team. We are a leading munitions and environmental services company with a robust remediation program that includes decontamination of explosives-contaminated buildings, chemical sampling, munitions treatment and disposal, and innovative technologies for explosives neutralization, metal precipitation, and stabilization.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a seasoned MMRP professional with demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and leading field-based teams conducting UXO operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage munitions-related remediation projects from planning through execution
• Serve as primary client liaison and maintain strong client relationships
• Oversee project logistics, scheduling, and budgeting
• Support business development initiatives and strategic growth efforts
• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing field teams
• Develop and expand service lines in munitions demilitarization and building decontamination/deconstruction

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading field-based UXO operations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple small- to mid-sized programs simultaneously
• Experience working with USACE clients (U.S. and/or international) strongly preferred
• Military background with EOD Tech III certification is a plus

Requirements

• 5 years of environmental project management experience (including 3 years in UXO/MMRP projects)
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Professional certifications such as PE, PG, or RG preferred; PMP or CHMM a plus
• Preference given to candidates with EOD/UXO Tech III certification
• Strong understanding of MMRP technologies, including equipment-assisted excavation and explosives-contaminated building decontamination/dismantling
• Experience managing project financials and ensuring profitable execution
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets
• Business development experience, including proposal writing and FFP cost estimation, is beneficial
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
