Overview: The Solution Architect is a strategic technical leader responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that address operational challenges and business needs. This role serves as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in troubleshooting, process re-engineering, and technical leadership within financial service environments.
Solution Architect
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Match technical solutions to everyday operational and business issues.
- Coordinate the development, analysis, and implementation of end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot technology and process issues across systems and teams.
- Identify alternative solutions, mitigate risks, and re-engineer processes where necessary.
- Collaborate with developers, operators, end-users and business analysts to analyze business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Translate business problems into scalable, secure, and reliable solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Symitar/Jack Henry environment and its integration points.
- Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts.
- Working closely with end users to articulate business problems and translate them into an appropriate solution design
- Follow architectural standards and governance in line with enterprise technology roadmap, regulatory requirements, and security standards and ensure security and operational integrity is sustainable.
- Work with Business lines to understand their technological needs and business strategy.
- Deploy and document changes in accordance with SDLC and change management processes.
- Proactively identify solutions to potential issues and embrace simplification.
- Serve as escalation point for high severity issues and troubleshoot / resolve complex incidents.
- Strengthen the software delivery process based on the Agile principles, including Scrum, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and Deployment.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and identify root causes.
- Experience with process optimization and re-engineering.
- Ability to independently clarify and assess ambiguous issues to develop consensus toward a solution.
- Demonstrated analytical techniques and ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology and present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Symitar/Jack Henry core banking systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Other: Desirable experience with SharePoint for collaborative products and workflows.

Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
