With each new generation we have the pleasure of interacting with, we maintain the credit union promise of people helping people.Our Mission:To help hard-working New Yorkers build better tomorrowsOur Vision:Be New York's most loved financial institution by helping our members build their best financial futuresOverview: The Application Support Specialist is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across the business, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.Responsibilities:Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Proficient knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software: Jack Henry Symitar, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Synergy, Image Center, SynapsysFunction as the system administrator for managed applications Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the application and systems, and coordinate testing of new releasesManage alert monitoring for all ancillary applications and prepare communications to affected business units Consult with leaders and other professionals on workflow operations and how to optimize them Act as the technical liaison between the vendor/service provider and the internal business unitProvide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when requiredAssist with systems integrationsManage the ticketed query system and ensure database of queries and resolutions is kept up to dateMaintain and update technical documents and proceduresIdentify and resolve technical issuesDeliver regular and customized training to teams within the businessRequirements:College degree in one of the following disciplines: IT, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Business Administration OR equivalent work experience Intimate knowledge of the organization’s systems: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Synergy, Alkami, Image Center, SynapsysAbility to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledgeExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExtraordinary customer service and relationship management experienceCritical thinking skillsWhy you'll be a good fit:Our Core Values are an integral part of who we are and who we hire.
