Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muncie, IN, for a Finance Manager at Muncie Catholic. The Finance Manager will oversee budget preparation and financial reporting, administer payroll and benefits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. They will handle day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the pastorate's mission.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing
- Knowledge of compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and accounting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of non-profit or religious organization finance (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required; CPA or equivalent is a plus
