Position Overview:
The Office Manager will oversee daily administrative operations, support the staff and leadership, and ensure the office functions efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment, and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, supplies, scheduling, and IT management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for public, clients, partners, and vendors
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation (both physical and digital)
- Support accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and receiving
- Support engineering team with permit documentation / preparation, project tracking and coordination / correspondence, and general engineering support
Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative or office management role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting practices is preferred
- Experience with engineering, construction, or technical environments is a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
