Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics of supply chain activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to maintain efficient operations.
- Inventory Control: Implement and manage inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce holding costs, and minimize waste.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Utilize supply chain management software to enhance operational efficiency.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and quality of goods.
- Cross Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales and production teams to forecast demand and ensure product availability without overstocking.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and logistics operations to support strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred, with a focus on roles that involve data analysis and inventory management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues within the supply chain and implement effective solutions promptly.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
