Medical ScribeDulles, VAPay From: $19 per hourMUST:Medical Scribe must have experience:Strong medical terminology experienceHave EMR experienceExperience working in an outpatient setting is a plusOne year of medical scribe experienceStrong typing skillsMust possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skillsDUTIES:Shadow a physician and document all of his patient notesProcess patient referralsAssist the physician with patient call backsObtains consent forms from patients, when necessarySchedules lab appointments or tests as ordered by physiciansOrdering necessary medical suppliesActs as a liaison between the physician and the patient as neededContacts patients with test results, as directed by the physicianFiles tests, lab results, charts, etc.Follows all clinic policies, procedures and work rules, as established from time to time by clinic management
