Description Position: Facilities Summer Crew Team Member
Cedar Springs Public Schools seeks individuals to work within small crews of staff and students in work across the district this summer. Tasks will include campus beautification, office furniture moves, organization and inventory of classroom technology, athletic field preparation, and various facility-related project support.
This position will require regular outdoor work in various weather conditions, operation of landscape equipment, and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Some assignments will occur within active construction sites. Hard hats and other assigned PPE must be worn, as needed.
Schedule: Full-Time M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM, June 8 - August 21, 2026
Rate of Pay: $13.75/hr.
Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Execute project outcomes as communicated by Team Lead or Director of Facilities
- Flexibility to move between tasks as various needs arise during the work day
- Athletic field prep and maintenance
- Landscape installations and beautification
- Moving classroom furniture and boxing/moving classroom material in coordination with construction crews
- Other duties as assigned

Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD).
