What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Material Handler / Tow Motor - 1st Shift (6am to 2:30pm-Mon thru Fri) (35510) position at MULTILINK INC?
This position is responsible for handling materials for assigned departments, ensuring product is organized and picked to correct quantity, length, shape, and orientation according to customer and/or product requirements.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate a tow motor sit down and a Raymond Reach Lift
- Receive, count, and inspect incoming materials while using the handheld to make transactions in the system accordingly.
- Ensure the physical inventory is properly allocated into the bins in the system and update with each physical movement of inventory
- Collaborate with department supervisor and receiving department to determine when product is missing in a delivery
- Utilize tow motor to assist assemblers with product from warehouse shelfs
- Package finished goods for stock and orders that need to be shipped
- Utilize the pallet wrapper to prepare orders for shipping
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Observe and adhere to all safety and production rules/guidelines
- Excellent attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent may be required
- Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screen
Work Site Environment
- Ability to work in a 55 – 85-degree Fahrenheit work environment.
