Child Care Provider (Full-Time or Part-Time)Job Summary
Multicultural Center LLC is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Child Care Provider to join our team! Responsibilities
- Provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social-emotional development.
- Create a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, and nap time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom, including toys and learning materials.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Communicate with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Follow all Iowa childcare licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide high-quality care and education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare center, preschool, nanny, babysitting, or similar setting preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques.
- Experience working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Must be dependable, patient, flexible, and committed to providing exceptional care.
