Duties
- Greet members warmly and assist with their banking transactions, including cash handling, debits & credits, and cash management.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately using financial software and 10 key typing skills.
- Promote and upsell additional banking products and services such as loans, savings accounts, or credit options to meet members’ financial goals.
- Manage member relationships by providing personalized support, addressing inquiries promptly, and fostering trust through excellent customer service.
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and following established fraud prevention protocols.
- Assist with loan origination processes by collecting necessary documentation, verifying information, and processing applications efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, adhere to compliance standards, and ensure confidentiality of member information.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or retail math is preferred; strong math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of financial sales techniques, relationship management strategies, and banking operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with financial software systems and basic cash handling procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately using 10 key typing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to build rapport with members.
- Demonstrated ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity with attention to detail.
