We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution. This role ensures efficient workflows, accurate inventory management, and a safe, organized environment, while collaborating cross-functionally to support timely and accurate product handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Organize inventory to maximize space and improve efficiency
- Develop and refine processes to optimize warehouse operations
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain proper stock without overstocking
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to drive performance and productivity
- Train team members on procedures, safety standards, and equipment use
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory systems and track product movement
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Partner with purchasing and sales teams to support inventory planning and availability
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Lead safety training and promote best practices
Logistics & Shipping
- Oversee order preparation, packing accuracy, and timely shipment
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve shipping issues and implement preventative solutions
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement process improvements and leverage technology where appropriate
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including team leadership
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and remain active for extended periods
