We are hiring a dynamic and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team of 150 professionals working from our Boca Raton, Florida, headquarters.
In this job, you will work with Executive Producers, Art Directors, Animators, Technical Directors, Lighting Designers, Creative Directors, Sound Engineers, and many other levels of Broadway-caliber professionals who work in the corporate industrial theater meeting space. Supporting and maintaining our computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure, while managing and providing guidance to the Help Desk. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to on-show and on-site employees.
- Support the IT department in system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Perform regular system tasks, including updates, patching, user management, and maintenance of user computer systems and software (Windows, MacOS, Mosyle, Nutanix).
- Administer Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Planner).
- Coordinate the preparation and support of show equipment, maintaining accurate user equipment and rental inventory.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral equipment issues for on-site and on-show employees.
- Potential for up to 15% travel post-COVID within the US to support event setups and strikes.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Microsoft Server Administration and help desk support, or a combination of education/experience.
- Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, network fundamentals, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and desktop operating systems including MacOS.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with anti-virus, malware, and email security technologies and concepts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, following departmental policies and procedures.
- Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to document troubleshooting solutions and system configurations.
- Physical ability to occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds (occasionally up to 25 pounds).
