What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrialization engineer position at MULTI ELECTRIC?
Purpose :
The role is focused on bringing products into production and managing their lifecycle — without being involved in design activities - acting as a technical point of reference between the italian headquarter and the US suppliers site
Activities & Accountabilities
- Work with suppliers: select new partners and manage the relationship;
- Act as the main point of contact between suppliers and internal teams;
- Define and improve internal procedures (e.g. testing), collaborating with our USA) team;
- Carry out cost analysis and support cost optimization activities;
- Support certification processes for the US market, including new product approvals;
- Manage product lifecycle topics such as component equivalents and obsolescence, in coordination with the technical office;
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and failure analysis;
- Support customers by providing technical feedback and cost-related evaluations when issues arise;
- Visit to suppliers when needed for alignment, audits, or problem-solving.
Studies: Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related fields
Hard skills:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in industrialization, manufacturing, or similar roles;
- Familiarity with electronic boards and production processes
- Ideally with a focus on power electronics;
- Knowledge of main measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.);
- Proven experience working with suppliers;
- Fluency in English is required
- knowledge of second language, Italian or French, is a plus.
