This part-time role supports MDI’s control panel shop and warehouse operations by managing daily shipping and receiving tasks, maintaining accurate inventory, and creating simple social media content that showcases the high-quality work produced by the team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment where accuracy and professionalism matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming components, verify accuracy against MDI purchase orders, and stage materials for panel builds
- Prepare outgoing shipments, package control panels and parts securely, and coordinate pickups with carriers
- Maintain inventory counts, update stock levels, and assist with organizing shelves, bins, and storage areas
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and aligned with MDI’s safety and workflow standards
- Capture photos or short videos of panel builds, shop activity, or completed projects
- Create simple social media posts that highlight MDI’s craftsmanship, company culture, and project milestones
- Support general shop tasks as needed, including helping technicians with material prep or organization
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
