Control Panel Technician Responsibilities:
Job Description
- Layout back panel and enclosures
- Drill and tap back panels and enclosures
- Mount components to back panels and enclosures
- Wire control panels to electrical schematics
- Label components
- Help with shipping logistics
- Shop clean-up and organization
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with wiring, and using power tools.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures, schematics reading.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities for field service support.
- Knowledge of high voltage safety standards is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure clean, professional panel builds.
