The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with general office tasks to help ensure smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Support payroll processing, tracking, and related administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
- Track company expenses and assist with reconciliations
- Perform data entry and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Assist with filing, document management, and general office administration
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments as needed
- Support daily accounting and operational activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll processing and financial reporting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
