Part Time Custodian

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in a part-time Operations: Maintenance/Custodial role. This position is essential for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement cleaning schedules and maintenance plans.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as needed.
- Support special events and activities by preparing and cleaning venues before and after use.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful workplace.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safe handling practices.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
