Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and drink options
- Take accurate orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
