Job Description
Mullica Gardens Assisted Living is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Dishwasher to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents while supporting daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
- Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with stocking supplies and reporting low inventory
- Work cooperatively with staff to ensure a positive environment for residents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or food service experience is a plus (healthcare setting preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
