Job Description
Mullica Gardens Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. This role is essential in ensuring our facility remains in excellent condition and compliant with all safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies
- Maintain grounds, including light landscaping, trash removal, and snow/ice management
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and inventory of supplies
- Assist in emergency maintenance situations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of maintenance experience (healthcare or assisted living preferred)
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as required
- Valid driver’s license preferred

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- On-call as needed (low frequency, scheduled in coordination with Administrator)
