Job Summary
If you're tired of running the same part 500 times a day, come weld somewhere every job is different. Mull Group is a third-generation, family-owned industrial manufacturer that has been building and rebuilding heavy equipment in the Upper Ohio Valley since 1961.
We're hiring an experienced welder for our weld shop. You'll do repair work, surface build-up, and fabrication on the industrial components that keep heavy equipment running.
What you'll do
- Weld with MIG, TIG, and stick on a wide range of industrial jobs.
- Repair worn and damaged components and rebuild surfaces to spec.
- Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints.
- Prep, fit, grind, and finish your own work.
- Check your work against prints and quality standards.
- Follow safe work practices and keep a clean, organized work area.
- Log your time and job progress in our simple shop system.
What you bring
- 3 years of professional welding experience
- Working skill in MIG, TIG, Sub arc, and SMAW (stick)
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Repair or build-up experience, which is a big plus
- Pride in your work and a good attitude toward the team
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety
Nice to have
- AWS certifications
- Experience with fabrications or heavy-equipment repair
- Experience with a range of metals, including alloy steel, cast iron, stainless, and bronze
- Overhead crane or forklift experience

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
