We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant, you will report directly to the Purchasing Manager and work on raw materials purchasing, inventory, warehouses, transit, production planning, payments and more.
Job Description
- Analyze inventory levels to determine purchasing needs.
- Track and replenish raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory.
- Maintain relationships with vendors.
- Manage purchase orders, track incoming shipments and quality, and set up bills for payment.
- Keep remote warehouse stocked.
- Purchase tool room, maintenance, office and janitorial supplies and parts.
- Maintain inventory costs and bills of material.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,314.30 - $44,937.66 per year
