Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and gather necessary medical history information with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Explain treatment plans clearly, addressing patient questions about procedures, costs, and scheduling to promote understanding and comfort
- Coordinate with dental providers to schedule treatments efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times and optimal patient flow
- Assist patients with financial arrangements by explaining insurance benefits, payment options, and treatment estimates transparently
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and billing information using Open Dental.
- Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction, answer additional questions, and encourage ongoing oral health care
- Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and document management to keep the office running smoothly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a General/Specialty dental office environment, demonstrating familiarity with dental procedures and patient interaction
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in medical administrative support functions such as scheduling software, billing systems, and insurance processing
- Prior dental office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with dental terminology and insurance is a requirement
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively educate and reassure patients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all responsibilities

Job Type: Full Time 30 -40 hr work week (Mon-Fri and some Sat's)
Pay From $30-35 per hr. with a generous healthcare benefits package offering medical, dental, vision and 401k.
