What You’ll Do

As a Multimedia Account Executive, you’ll work directly with local and regional businesses to develop advertising strategies that deliver results.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, decision-makers, and community leaders.
• Generate new business: Proactively identify prospects, make sales calls, schedule appointments, and create new revenue opportunities.
• Sell multimedia advertising: Present customized campaigns utilizing STAR 102.5 FM, WIOZ 550 AM, streaming audio, digital advertising, social media, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Become a marketing partner: Learn each client’s business, understand their goals, and recommend advertising solutions designed to help them succeed.
• Develop creative campaigns: Collaborate with our production, programming, and digital teams to create compelling advertising messages.
• Manage your accounts: Build lasting client partnerships through consistent communication, excellent service, and ongoing campaign reviews.
• Grow your business: Meet and exceed sales goals by developing new accounts, retaining existing advertisers, and identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
• Represent our stations: Attend networking events, community activities, and promotional opportunities while building your professional presence throughout the Sandhills.

Previous sales experience is a plus, but radio experience is not required. We value the right personality, motivation, willingness to learn, and commitment to success.

Experience in advertising, marketing, business development, or outside sales is beneficial.
