Industrial Maintenance Technician

Precision Tube Co. is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a variety of environments.
Additional duties may be assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance according to manuals and established schedules
• Conduct routine testing of equipment and safety systems
• Dismantle, inspect, overhaul, and reassemble industrial machinery and equipment
• Adjust production machinery to achieve optimum performance
• Assist with installation and assembly of new machinery under builder supervision
• Support electrical and millwright work as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems and production equipment
• Assist with startup and commissioning of new machines
• Help train and support other personnel as needed
• Submit material requisitions to the Plant Engineer
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleanup after repairs
• Comply with all safety requirements, including confined space procedures
• Work indoors or outdoors depending on job requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Basic knowledge of:
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Electrical systems
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Power transmission equipment
• General industrial maintenance practices
• Ability to perform gas and electric welding
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and in confined or restricted areas
• Ability to climb ladders while carrying tools or materials
