Logistics Supervisor

Job Description Provide overall supervision to ensure that all operational goals are met, including, but not limited to the following: budget expectations, inventory accuracy, order fill needs, productivity, safety, quality, receipts and on-time departure Address performance issues in a timely manner Effectively communicate with internal and external customers Provide training to employees in terms of SOP's, job specific procedures, and completing required documentation correctly Ensure compliance to SOP's, Housekeeping, and all other policies Ensure compliance to all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements Maintain a safe work environment by training personnel on safety issues, conducting safety talks, completing safety accident and/or incident reports, and recognizing and correcting unsafe conditions or acts Direct the daily activities of shift personnel engaged in the logistics operation (warehouse, materials, inventory control, receiving and shipping) of both raw product and finished goods. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Required Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions -written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Capable of working in all temperatures Willing to work weekends Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and E1 systems Bachelor's degree preferred or progressive work experience in the logistics field (warehouse, materials, inventory control, receiving and shipping) We are an equal opportunity employer.
