What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Saturday Morning Order Fufilment position at Muddy Fork Bakery?
Muddy Fork Bakery is hiring a baker’s assistant for Saturdays early morning. Saturdays are 2:00 am to 9:30 or 10 am weekly. This person will mix and shape our oat scones, and assist with packing customer orders and packaging breads. The Saturday ends with a couple hours of customer and store deliveries.
We are looking for someone with some kitchen experience and who can demonstrate that they will be exceedingly reliable and punctual for a 2 am shift. You will need to have a vehicle that you can make deliveries in. We reimburse mileage at $.60/mi.
We are a small family-run bakery in northeast Monroe county with a tight-knit staff of about 8. We value equity in our work, and we believe in creating the best workplace environment possible.
We have a brick, wood-fired oven and specialize in artisan breads and baked goods. We operate 50 weeks of the year and need employees who are very reliable. We are 20 minutes from town so you must have reliable transportation out to the bakery.
Pay for this position starts at $16 / hr due to the early morning schedule, plus a share of tips (usually around $1.50 / hr). Willing to discuss the pay rate for the right candidate.
