About the Position
We're looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant or Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced mixed animal practice.
Whether you're an experienced technician or an assistant looking to continue learning and growing, we want someone who is eager to contribute to a positive team culture and provide outstanding care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain patient histories and accurately document medical records.
- Safely restrain patients and provide compassionate patient care.
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures.
- Collect blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples.
- Assist with radiographs, ultrasound, anesthesia, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia and recovering patients (technician duties as applicable).
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, nutrition, and home care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area.
- Collaborate with teammates to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
- Veterinary Assistant experience preferred or
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program and/or Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and restrain animals safely.
- Willingness to continue learning and growing professionally.
