JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Surveillance Technician performs advanced technical work analyzing, maintaining, and repairing servers, networking, and camera systems that monitor gaming operations. Mentors Surveillance Technician(s), manages complex system projects, and ensures high reliability of TGA surveillance systems while maintaining compliance with gaming regulations.

EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five (5) years’ experience installing, repairing and maintaining CCTV systems, servers, and networking equipment.
- Networking fundamentals experience and server administration.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience with video management systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Surveillance Technician within a gaming environment.
Special Requirements:
- Incumbents must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Meet the criteria for a gaming license.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred:
- AA degree in Electronics, Networking, Computer Science or related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this class/job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, crawl, kneel, crouch, twist, push/pull and grasp; use hands to operate, finger repetitively, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Employee has occasional exposure to possible electrical shock. The employee must be able to climb tall ladders, enter and exit crawl spaces and access ceilings and rooftops while performing portions of the job. Portions of this job will be performed in a smoke-filled environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
