What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Management Training Analyst position at Muckleshoot Indian Tribe?
Under the general supervision of the Program Manager and Director, the Executive Management Training Analyst will participate in rotation opportunities through designated Muckleshoot Indian Tribe Divisions. These opportunities are designed to aid in acquiring and growing the knowledge and skills required to be successful in executive level positions within Muckleshoot Tribal Government or other Muckleshoot entities. The rotation opportunities will provide full exposure to the services, programs, and day-to-day operations of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe as a whole.
During each rotation the Analyst will participate in a variety of planned learning experiences, as well as on-the-job training assignments, that are intended to ensure the Analyst gains an understanding of key competencies associated with positions at varying levels, from frontline to director, within each department.
The Analyst will receive coaching and individualized guidance to assist in their personal, professional and leadership development. With successful completion of training, education and work requirements as determined by the Program Manager and/or Director, this position may lead to a regular, full-time position with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. However, future employment is not guaranteed.

Demands can range from sedentary to moderate - when there is walking, climbing stairs/ladders, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting - to rigorous. The employee must frequently lift/carry objects up to 80 pounds and occasionally push/pull objects up to 100 pounds. Long daily requirements of carrying equipment/material and/or sitting/standing may be required. The employee must be able to see clearly at a distance, in order to judge how far away an object is, or which of several objects is closer or farther away. Some work is performed in an office setting with adequate lighting, heating and ventilation. The majority of the work is performed in the field. Field work involves exposures to all types of weather, insects, slippery rocks/trails, irregular terrain, or cold water temperatures. Work aboard boats may be required. In addition, the employee may be occasionally exposed to hazardous equipment such as machinery, or boats, as well as, moderate to loud noise levels, exposed to hazardous substances, materials and/or equipment.

- Comply with training requirements as established by the Executive Management Training Program.
- Pursue and complete any higher education requirements as established by the Executive Management Training Program.
- Observe, learn, and gain hands-on experience in a variety of roles within designated Departments.
- Gain an understanding of the operations and responsibilities of each Department, and what their role is in regards to accomplishing the mission of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
- Follow required safety protocols and/or any additional training(s)/requirements that may be needed in order to perform the various rotational job functions assigned.
- Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.
- Must be an enrolled Muckleshoot Tribal member.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or commitment to obtain one through an approved education agreement.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Incumbents must be able to pass a background investigation (must be eligible to work with vulnerable population).
