WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Memorization of the menu, including food and beverage options, specials, and allergen information.
- Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items.
- Upsell higher-priced menu items or promotions when appropriate.
- Ensure proper presentation, temperature, and portioning of dishes.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food.
- Provide attentive and friendly guest service, addressing guests' needs and concerns.
- Anticipate guest requirements and help when needed.
- Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor.
- Be able to maintain a 5-table section while following all service standards in a positive and upbeat fashion.
- Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks, to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Service, salesmanship, and prioritization of tasks, with a strict focus on meeting and exceeding the needs of the guest, is a must.
- Take accurate and detailed food and drink orders from guests, including any modifications or dietary restrictions.
- Must have the ability to accurately receive and enter food and beverage orders through the given POS system and possess knowledge of fine-dining coursing with appropriate and timely steps of service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and resolve them to the best of your ability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license
- 1 (one) year of fine dining/hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- 2 (two) years of serving experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of wines, and liquors, as well as the opening and serving of them is a plus!
- Must have or be able to obtain WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit (required).
- Must have or able to obtain a Class 12 Alcohol Permit (required).
