Job Summary
Bangs Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity offers a consistent day shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and professional practice standards
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Rehabilitation Experience Preferred
- Strong Clinical Assessment and Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
