Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Travel Assignment | California
Location: Arcata, CA
Facility: Mad River Community Hospital
Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $50 – $57 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS – Generalist) for a travel assignment in California. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare facility while earning competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures
- Work across multiple departments including hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
- Handle and analyze blood bank specimens (required experience)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
Requirements:
- Active California CLS or MLS License (Mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Strong Blood Bank experience
- TB Clearance within the last 12 months
- Ability to work flexible shifts (to be discussed)
- Willingness to cover holidays if required
