Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Utility Locator, located in Auburn, WA. As a Utility Locator, you will be responsible for accurately identifying, locating, and marking underground utilities in a variety of work environments. Daily responsibilities include reading utility maps, operating locating equipment, documenting utility locations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will collaborate with team members and communicate findings with project stakeholders to support excavation and construction activities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Excavation and the Utility Industry
- Understanding of Utilities and the ability to read and interpret utility maps
- Proficiency in Computer Literacy for inputting data and using required software
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Prior utility locating experience is a plus
