Mount Juliet Christian Academy is a ministry of First Baptist Church Mount Juliet, and all MJCA employees affirm and agree to uphold the doctrines outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, as well as the beliefs and teachings of FBCMJ. MJCA is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Bible Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will teach key areas of the Christian faith, including Biblical worldview, Old Testament and New Testament surveys, and the foundations of Christianity. A successful candidate must be able to clearly and meaningfully communicate God’s Word in a way that engages students’ hearts and minds, helping them grow in both knowledge and personal faith. This role requires the ability to create a dynamic, spiritually enriching learning environment that inspires students toward active discipleship.
The candidate should consistently demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness in daily interactions and must be deeply committed to nurturing students’ spiritual growth in alignment with the mission of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy and, ultimately, First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet, of which MJCA is a ministry.
- Active member at First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet (not required to apply), along with a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Bachelor’s Degree

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Promote the mission of FBcMJ and uphold the principles of Kingdom Education.
- Actively participate in spiritual life at MJCA, including prayer, devotions, Bible study, and chapel services.
- Develop and implement lesson plans for all instructional activities.
- Maintain appropriate classroom behavior and discipline.
- Supervise assigned extracurricular activities, student organizations, and school outings.
- Exhibit a personal and growing walk with the Lord, demonstrated through daily life and conduct.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Collaborate well with colleagues and adapt to a dynamic and evolving academic environment.
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
