What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute Guidance Counselor position at Mt. Holly Elementary School?
Chester-Andover Elementary School has an opening for a dynamic, motivated and dedicated professional to work as a Long Term Substitute Guidance Counselor. This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30, starting in early March.
Responsible to and serve under the direction of the Principal, the counselor is responsible for the educational and emotional needs of the students and will fully support the policies and procedures of the school. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching classroom guidance, grades K-6
- Facilitating small group counseling
- Skill work/counseling with individual students
- 504 case management
- Homeless determination/coordination.
Must attend IEP, SST and Crisis Team meetings.
Pay is based on experience and educator license status.
