Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School is a 7–12 school serving approximately 550 students from four vibrant Addison County towns. We are seeking a science educator to join our collaborative and supportive science department teaching in both the middle and high schools.
Position Overview
Middle School Position
Teach integrated science to a multi-grade classroom (Grades 7–8)
Support students in developing foundational scientific thinking and inquiry skills
Emphasize cross-cutting concepts and transferable skills
Facilitate student development in social-emotional and executive functioning skills such as collaboration, time management, organization, and self-regulation.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement NGSS-aligned, proficiency-based instruction.
Engage students in inquiry-based science learning.
Use a variety of assessment strategies to support student growth and mastery.
Build strong, positive relationships with students.
Collaborate with colleagues through team planning and shared curriculum development
Support students’ development of transferable skills.

The salary range $57,242 - $108,246 is commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Mount Abraham Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
