Job Description
Automotive: Market Tire Coach (MTC)
- Full-time
- Workplace: Field Based
- Reports to: MSXI National Tire Manager (NTM)
- Direct Reports: None
- Travel: Up to 80% (Overnight Travel Required)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for tire operations, supporting Tire Inventory Management (TIM) tool implementation, setup, inventory control, pricing, product lineups, merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Enhance market and regional performance through effective sales planning, monthly performance reviews, and targeted recovery initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with tools, processes, and standards throughout OEM Dealer and partner operations.
- Provide field training and create job aids and playbooks to support operational excellence.
- Lead Tire KPI and BPR reviews with MSXI and OEM, translate insights into actionable strategies, and manage special projects to completion.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience in tire sales process, retail operations, dealer programs, or automotive roles.
- Strong knowledge of tire merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
- OEM and dealer field experience; data-driven with proven execution.
- Strong forecasting skill and performance analysis.
- The position requires a self-starter who consistently meets KPI and customer satisfaction targets.
- Strong coaching and communication skills.
- Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Willingness to travel; valid driver's license.
- High School diploma or Equivalent Required (bachelor’s degree a Plus)
- Achieve Market KPI improvement.
- Completed all required support documentation.
- Increased tire sales and purchases across all dealers at the market and regional level.
