Job Overview
Provides leadership and direction to Shipping/Receiving and Production Control. Ensures production work is scheduled and delivered meeting on-time delivery expectations.
Duties
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Lead team to ensure shipping goals and deadlines are completed in a timely manner.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules and other documents to determine production requirements and to evaluate production and outputs.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job order and company policies and procedures.
- Work with the materials department to reduce inventory levels.
- Optimize scheduling of manufacturing processes and resources.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Experience with Epicor preferred
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 3-years’ leadership experience in production control in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP and Excel software
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
