POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Manager – Inventory Solutions and Operations is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in all matters of customer inventory management solutions, implementation of those solutions, analytics and supporting the operation of those solutions through the regional Inventory Management Representative network. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facets of these solutions are maintained, analytics compiled and reviewed and that customer service level expectations and internal top line revenues are met.  Inventory solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations, best-in-class operations and profitable top-line revenue growth are the primary focus of this leadership role.  They will manage relationships internally and with our customers and collaborate with various departments to meet the company’s operational and revenue goals of implemented solutions. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs and develops the regional team responsible for all inventory management solutions implementations and operations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Leads and directs their team consisting of but not limited to Implementation Specialist (IMS) and Inventory Management Representatives (IMR).
  • Drives cross training between IMS and IMR in the field to assist in implementations and break/fix opportunities at customer operating locations.
  • Works with the Project Management team on Managed Inventory opportunities and implementations to ensure timely completion of both activities.
  • Provides collaboration in support of CribMaster coordination, tracking, customer vending machine preparation, cancellations and return coordination and redeployment.
  • In collaboration with commercial team partners, reviews Vending Analytics including nonperforming customer reporting for immediate review and countermeasures.  
  • Continuously monitors industry trends and innovations applicable to the organization at the forefront of Managed Inventory Solutions.
  • Manages Continual Improvement opportunities for the company through vending, crib management and software enhancements.
  • Responsible for regional quarterly report out to the Executive Director – Inventory Management Solutions and Operations on implemented Inventory Management Solutions and their performance within respected region.
  • Works closely with commercial team optimizing inventory management, order processing, and distribution to minimize lead times and maximize return on investment for vending machines.
  • Continuously collaborates with the commercial team assisting in opportunity assessment and identification and coaching IMS to assist as SME in customer acquisition presentations and analysis.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of a Wurth MSM leader including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
  • Drives the Wurth Company Culture through engagement throughout their organization to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of Wurth’s MSM mission.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Approve T&E expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Work closely with other departments, including commercial, supply chain, procurement, customer service, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for managed inventory solutions.
  • All other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in Managed Inventory Solutions, Vending/Crib Management Software, Operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel is required
  • Demonstrated success in multiple multi-million customer accounts with multiple locations and Point of Use is required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • The ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

 

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
