We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Legal Administrative Assistant to support our team with day-to-day administrative tasks. Prior legal experience is not required, but exposure to a law firm or legal environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents and correspondence
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with data entry and general administrative support
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Communicate with clients and internal team members as needed
- Support attorneys and staff with various administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- 1 year of administrative, office, or customer service experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
- Legal experience or education is a plus, but not required
