Role Overview
The Transactions & Cash Manager is responsible for leading the company’s end-to-end cash management and transactional finance operations, with a strong focus on liquidity, forecasting, and working capital optimization. This role oversees Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) and partners closely with finance leadership to ensure disciplined execution, strong cash positioning, and scalable processes that support a growing, private equity–backed organization.
This position is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who has operated within sophisticated AR, AP, and cash environments and understands what best-in-class transactional finance looks like in practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all cash operations, including cash forecasting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), working capital management, and overall cash strategy
- Manage, coach, and develop AR and AP teams, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and performance
- Build, refine, and scale AR, AP, and cash management processes, tools, and internal controls
- Drive improvements in cash flow efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and working capital performance
- Partner with finance leadership to provide insights on cash trends, risks, and liquidity planning
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to support business objectives
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations within a public company or mid-to-large private equity–backed organization
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing AR, AP, and cash teams of at least 5 employees
- Demonstrated experience operating in a complex, high-transaction environment with established systems, tools, and processes
- Strong understanding of cash management best practices, working capital optimization, and forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field OR a minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on experience with Paylocity, Concur, Tipalti, Monex, Syteline, or similar ERP and financial systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS in Finance, or MS in Accounting
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CTP, or equivalent credentials relevant to cash and transactional finance
- Industry experience within manufacturing, industrial services, defense, marine, or power generation environments
- Post-merger integration experience or equivalent experience operating through periods of rapid growth, systems integration, or organizational transformation
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-location, or operationally complex organizations
- Proven track record of improving cash conversion cycles, forecasting accuracy, or liquidity management
