As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish. You'll ensure that projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and exceed expectations. You'll coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety standards, manage schedules, and maintain quality control, all while representing MSF with professionalism.

As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish. You'll ensure that projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and exceed expectations. You'll coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety standards, manage schedules, and maintain quality control, all while representing MSF with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Direct all on-site construction operations for commercial hospitality builds
- Coordinate subcontractor work and lead weekly site meetings
- Develop and manage three-week lookahead schedules
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, PPE, signage)
- Perform daily site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks
- Maintain field office operations, including daily logs, red-line drawings, delivery logs, and documentation
- Enforce quality control standards (Level II or III, as applicable) and punch list execution
- Track material and equipment deliveries, rentals, and usage
- Communicate proactively with Project Managers to resolve jobsite issues
- Train and lead assistant superintendents and labor on-site
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent
- Experience in hotels or large-scale hospitality is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 60% for projects (with employer-paid travel and per diem)
- Strong working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of construction plans, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field documentation
- Proven leadership and communication skills, able to work independently with limited supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
